Painting like a fiend !

We Ordered a canvas from Roger Mason , he made it in a week ! Watched the Hockney Program on BBC2 and great to see he's using the same idea as we had of painting large landscapes on several canvas' enabling the artist to transport the work more easily to and from the location on several more manageable  sized canvas' as opposed to one massive one .

Deciced to use this painting of water lillies at The Yatch Basin ,Chichester for the invite to all three shows

Joel's able to get out a bit more now the weather is more temperate , visiting Del Quay , Aldwick Bay , The Witterings, Chichester Yatch Basin.

Using the Water Lillies painting for the invite to Joel's series of exhibitions,  Sandra Peaty of Partner's in Art at Pallant House has kindly said Joel's invites can go out in their next mail shot ! Fantastic ! So kicking off at the Oxmarket Chichester 30th may then on to Artspace Portsmouth, and next at No 26 in Arundel, and later at Cafe Cocoa Petworth.... and thats so far !

Yup its a Hockney !

Stunning bright crisp morning down at Del Quay collecting Joel's work from the Earth Air and Water Open Exhibition at Havant Arts Centre, The light is perfect but sharp biting wind so we don't hang about , Joel takes some pictures and we drop in on Sophie Macpherson  to check out her new studio , and return her painting from the Open Exhibition.
