Joel had a good Christmas and  got going on some new paintings

We've decided to accept the offer of a show at Art Space in Portsmouth in June  and thinking about Havant Arts Centre as a possible 3rd venue but not sure if its in the right place ie between Chichester and Portsmouth maybe Arundel is better , for reaching a wider audience? So concidering No 26 in Arundel and Sugar Rooms on Petworth .
Tony came over to line Joels shed for painting storage , So we cleared it out ! What a lot of stuff ! It is true however much space you have ...you will fill it .

Over to Portsmouth Studio to do some sorting and discarding , another mamouth job for Joel, not something he's been looking forward to but great when its done .
The large paintings are making Joel think twice about working on such a  large scale , wonderful at the time but the transport and storage are a headache.

Thinking about the invites and publicity for the Oxmarket exhibition and also entering the Chichester Harbour  Open 'Earth Air Water' as Joel has some paintings of the Del Quay harbour which would be perfect .

Collecting some large cardboard boxes to store drawings in from Khadi Papers  we looked everywhere but nothing was suitable , and then remembered Khadi !

Trying to see where we can fit an Open Studio in as the regional one is on when Joel's exhibiting at the Oxmarket early May . We concidered doing one at Artspace but again the timing is wrong for Joel , and he's exhibiting there in June anyway so to simplifie things he 's going to have all his work there too like an open studio/exhibition.
